Viva Safaris offers a 10 day outreach experience in which you will be afforded the opportunity to assist needy outback communities in the Acornhoek region of Limpopo Province, South Africa. You will also have great fun including adventure activities and Big Five safaris, making your trip an exciting blend of hard work and fun-filled experiences.

The projects have been selected so as to allow volunteers of differing physical strength and interests to choose which kind of volunteer work they prefer to do. We have identified 3 schools and a church parish, all of which have specific needs which we shall address.

Cheetah Inn entrance
The program is operated from the Cheetah Inn, which is conveniently situated nearby the Acornhoek area and a mere 50 km from Kruger Park’s Orpen Gate. The Cheetah Inn is situated on 20 hectares of pristine bushveld in the heart of an excellent wildlife zone. It is game-fenced and has 24 hour security. The hotel is of 3 star level and all rooms are en suite. Airconditioning, overhead fans and insect-proof screens on the windows make for a very comfortable stay.

Facilities include a large swimming pool, mini-golf course, volleyball court and open air boma for typically African dinners around a crackling fire. A large conference room, TV lounge and restaurant are available for your convenience.
Viva Safaris will provide all transportation, with return transfers from Johannesburg airport or nearby hotels/ guesthouses. At all times you will be safe in the responsible hands of our competent guides. Our commitment to your well-being is guaranteed.
Guide teaches guests about secrets of the bush
Viva Safaris will provide all meals, all transfers, game walks with armed rangers and full day safaris in Kruger Park on open vehicles. We will transfer you to adventure activities such as white water rafting and quadbiking.

Viva Safaris will also provide all building materials. Our skilled builders and artisans will teach you how to make cement building blocks and will assist in the actual building / painting / planting operations. Our staff appreciates the time and effort you are so generously giving to uplift the local community schools and will endeavour to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
