Volunteer Projects
MARIA ASSUMPTA PARISH
The COMBONI MISSIONARIES is an order of Roman Catholic priests who do great work in ministering to the people of Africa. Apart from evangelization, the Comboni family attends to the well-being of all needy people. In Southern Africa, Comboni missionaries have played a very important part in alleviating the suffering of the local population in Mozambique as a result of the extended wars in that country.

Maria Assumpta Parish involves over 40 communities, served by three Comboni Fathers.
Under Father Xico’s inspiring direction, volunteers will make building blocks, build churches and assist the Comboni Family in spreading the Good News. Ideal volunteers for this project should be prepared to do a lot of physical work.
